The daughter of the late Will Vales and Ella Willoughby Vales.
She is survived by her husband, James "Jim" Barnette of Henderson; a daughter, Linda Moore of Powell, TN; four grandchildren, Debbie Thornhill, Julie Thompson, Melissa Williford and Bryan Moore; five great grandchildren and a son-in-law, Roger Collins.
She was preceded in death by, two children, Joella Collins and Larry Barnette; a son-in-law, Orville Moore and also four brothers.
She was a member of the Eastern Star.
