Elizabeth Balentine Turbett

Elizabeth Jane Balentine Turbett, age 77, of Lakeland, TN was born April 1, 1939 in Wayne County, TN to the late Jessie Floyd and Bessie Margaret Hanback Balentine. She was a homemaker and had worked in daycare for several years and was a member of Calvary Church of the Nazarene.

Survivors, husband, Larry K. Turbett, Lakeland, TN, sons, Keith Turbett and wife, Beverly of Arlington, TN and Brady Turbett and wife, Karen of Columbia, TN; grandchildren, Jennifer (Brock) Stewart, Ashley (Andrew) Tinker, Paul (Christina) Bush, Tiffany (Michael) Martin, Lane Clanton; great-grandchildren, Rylee and Aubree Stewart, Jayden and Jaxon Bush; brother, Ancil (Faye) Balentine of Collinwood, TN and nieces and nephews.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Joy Lynn White and sister, Robbie L. Balentine.

Services will be Monday, August 1, 2016 at 11 am at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel, Collinwood, TN and burial in Memorial Gardens, Collinwood, TN with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County directing. Pallbearer's will be Brock Stewart, Andrew Tinker, Roger C. Balentine, Jason Balentine, Caleb Balentine and Michael Montgomery. Honorary Pallbearers will be Alvin Gilchrist, Paul Bush, David and Pat Smith, Penny Smith Nicar and Cristy Smith Brownlee.

Visitation will be Sunday, July 31, 2016 from 5-8 pm and Monday, August 1, 2016 from 9 am to service time at the funeral home.
