Elizabeth Ann Tillmon

Elizabeth Ann Tillmon, 75, passed away Sunday morning, October 30, 2016, at her home in Bolivar.

A native and life-long resident of this area, she was the daughter of the late James Franklin and Fannie Christine Doyle Nelms. She was married to the late Mr. James Richard Tillmon on June, 16, 1956. They were married nearly 47 years at the time of his death on March 7, 2003.

Mrs. Tillmon was primarily a homemaker, however, she had also worked for Wal-Mart. She was a member of the Hebron Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening and her flowers.

She is survived by two daughters, Patricia Hernandez of Middleton and Janice Wilson of Bolivar; one son, Ronnie Tillmon of Bolivar; two sisters, Sue (Ray) Kirby of Hornsby and Martha Tillmon of Middleton; three brothers, William (Brenda) Nelms of Ripley, MS, James (Tammy Pusser) Nelms of Jackson and Calvin (Cathy) Nelms of Mansfield, TX; six grandchildren, Jennifer Martinez, Michael Smith, Casey and John Tillmon, and Amanda and Brandon Tillmon; and seven great-grandchildren, Kelsey, Julia and Temo Martinez, Kailey and Addley Tillmon, J. T. Roberts and Jace McClure.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by a son, Danny Tillmon; and a great-grandchild, Colton McClure.
