Elijah Walker (Skipper) Graham departed this life at the Hardin Medical Center in Savannah, Tennessee on November 16, 2014 at the age of 59 Years, 1 Month, and 15 Days. He was born on October 1, 1955, the son of the late William Charles and Minnie Louella Dixon Graham.
Mr. Graham served his country in the United States Army. While enlisted, he lived in Harvey, Illinois for a short period of time, and was also deployed to Germany where he stayed 12 months in Europe. He was also employed as a Heat Treater for Wyman Gordon Forging Company in Harvey, Illinois. He was a member of the Saint John Baptist Church where he was instrumental in church activities and loved working in the church. He was always supported by his church family. "Skipper" also enjoyed gardening, fishing, and horseback riding.
Elijah is survived by one son, Eli Graham of Bloomington, Minnesota; one daughter, Elycia Graham of McDonough, Georgia; one sister, Pearl Thames of Markham, Illinois; three brothers, Sam Graham of Savannah, Tennessee, Josh Graham of Memphis, Tennessee, and Mitchell Graham of Chicago, Illinois; and one grandchild, D'Angelo Slazman.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by three brothers, William C. Graham, Jr., Larry Graham, and Danny Graham.
