Elaine L. Smith

ELAINE L. SMITH

was born in Illinois on October 18, 1937 the daughter of the late Charlie Eckman and Ruby Marie Martin Pulley.

On May 28, 1955 she was united in marriage to James Carnell Smith, who preceded his wife in death on August 8, 2015.

Mrs. Smith was a retired factory worker from Johnson Controls and she also had worked for Linden Products in Linden, Tennessee. She was a former resident of Palos Hills, Illinois and Clifton, Tennessee.

Mrs. Smith departed this life on August 29, 2016 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 78 years, 10 months and 11 days.

She is survived by her two children, Vincent W. Smith of Murfreesboro, Tennessee and Pat W. Cooksey of Savannah, Tennessee.

one sister, Lennie Prater of Clifton, Tennessee and one brother, Thomas Eckman of Clifton, Tennessee

In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by one daughter, Donna M. Dobis.
