Effie Jean Wolfe Williams departed this life on Sunday, September 22, 2019, at the age of 90 years and 7 days. She was born in Savannah, Tennessee on September 15, 1929, the daughter of the late Walker and Minnie Bell Moore Wolfe. In August 1956, she was united in marriage to Howard Cecil Williams, who preceded her in death on May 14, 1963.
Effie Jean had worked for Tennessee River Manufacturing and had also worked at McDonald's, which she really enjoyed. She enjoyed sewing and gardening, and loved her two dogs, Lucky and Troubles.
She was survived by her daughter, Becky Williams Robertson of Savannah, Tennessee; brother, Billy Wolfe of Savannah, Tennessee; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Effie Jean was preceded in death by a brother, Douglas Wolfe.
