Services for Effie Golden Rich Scott, age 96, of Lutts, TN were on Monday, July 21, 2008 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel in Waynesboro with Greg Eaton officiating. Burial followed in the Piney Grove Cemetery near Cypress Inn, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Scott departed this life on July 19, 2008 at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro, Tennessee. She was born June 6, 1912 in Cypress Inn, Tennessee, to the late Joe Frank and Cora Sullivan Southerland Rich. Mrs. Scott was preceded in death by her husband George Henry Scott; 3 grandchildren; brothers, Willard Rich, J.T. Rich, and Eldred Rich; Mrs. Scott was a homemaker. She is survived by three daughters, Alene Scott, Christine Scott, and Katherine Patterson all of Lutts, TN; two sons, Franklin Scott of , Marked Tree, Arkansas and Billy Joe Scott of Lutts, TN; 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren, 18 great-great grandchildren
