Effie Elizabeth Holt, age 91, of Cypress Inn, TN died on Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2005 at Mitchell Hollingsworth Nursing Home, Florence, Ala. Mrs. Holt was born in Wayne County TN on October 15, 1914 to the late Matthew Harve and Nancy Caroline Greeson Stricklin. She was preceded in death by her husband; Arlie Holt; brothers; Martin; Herman and Swain Stricklin; sisters; Ethel Boyd; Lina Jordan and Irene Berry.
Mrs. Effie was a retired merchant and member of Hydes Church of Christ. Survivors; daughters; Sue Brown and husband; Ray of Hohenwald, TN; Kate Warrington of McMinnvielle, TN and the late Tom; Carolyn Harper and husband; Leyonne of Florence, Ala.; 7 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild ; 4 step-great-grandchildren
