Effie Jannette Gilliland

Mrs. Effie Jannette Hopkins Gilliland was born July 2, 1936 in Ashland, Mississippi the daughter of the late Roy Hopkins and the late Vera Cleary Duke. She was united in marriage to Leroy Gilliland on April 27, 1965. Mr. Gilliland preceded her in death in 2003. Mrs. Gilliland was a homemaker, and a member of the Counce Pentecostal Church.Mrs. Gilliland departed this life on November 7, 2005 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 69 Years, 4 Months, 5 Days. She is survived by two brothers, James L. Duke of Michie, Tennessee and George Edwin Duke of Iuka, Mississippi and two sisters, Linda Duke of Indianapolis, Indiana and Frankie Annette Duke of Eastview, Tennessee.
