Edwin May Perkins

Edwin M. Perkins was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on February 11, 1916 the son of the late Jesse May and Icie Garrison Perkins.On March 5, 1938 he married Ernestine Jarrett who preceded him in death on July 12, 2003.During his life he was a farmer and and was a member of the New Hope Fellowship Church. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish.Mr. Perkins departed this life on Friday, October 5, 2007 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 91 Years, 7 Months, 24 Days.He is survived by a son: Harry Perkins and wife Doris, of Adamsville, Tennessee; 2 daughters: Janice Johnson of Savannah, Tennessee and Brenda Wood and husband Jerry of Adamsville, Tennessee; 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.In addition to his wife and parents Mr. Perkins was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Larry Johnson and an infant sister.
