Edward George Montague

Edward George Montague was born October 1, 1926 in Helena, Arkansas the son of the late Lewis Hicks and Gillian Sanders Montague.He was a Retired Electrician from Defense Depot in Memphis, WW II and Koran Veteran, a member of the Bellevue Baptist Church, Free Masons and the Electoral Union of Memphis.Mr. Montague departed this life on September 20, 2008 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 81 Years, 11 Months, 19 Days.He is survived by two sons, Edward Montague of Memphis, TN and James Lewis Montague of Douglas, AL; a sister, Cathryn Montague Yopp of Selmer, TN; a nephew, Gordon L. Yopp of Selmer, TN; 3 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren.In addition to his parents, Mr. Montague was preceded in death by a daughter, Lisa Ann (Montague) Sutton; a son, Daniel Young; two brothers, Lewis Hicks Montague Jr. and Frances M. Montague.
