Edward Darwin Graham, Sr., 82, of Henderson, died Tuesday, March 20, 2007 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
The husband of Exie V. Miller Graham, who survives, he worked in shipping at International Harvester until 1982. Mr. Graham was born August 16, 1924 in Walnut, Miss., son of the late Johnny and Ruby Munn Graham and lived in Memphis for many years before making his home in Henderson in 1998. He served in the U. S. Army during WWII and was Primitive Baptist in belief.
In addition to his wife, whom he married May 21, 1981, survivors include one daughter, Peggy Dianne Reese of Houston, Tex.; three sons, Edward Darwin Graham, Jr. of Ripley, Tenn., Dale Alan Graham of Bartlett and Larry Hoyt Graham of Olive Branch, Miss.; one step-daughter, Shirley Morgan of Whiteville; three step-sons, Odell Roland of Tulsa, Okla., Michael Roland of Lexington and Wayne Roland of Oakland; one sister, Annie Mae Meeks of Middleton; thirteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother, Eugene Graham.
