Edward "Ed" Calvin Cossey, 57, of Bossier City, LA, died Monday, May 7, after a sudden illness.
He was born in the Walnut Grove Community, the son of Louise Cossey and the late Emmitt Cossey. He was united in marriage to the former Marilyn Lovesee, who survives.
Mr. Cossey served his country in the United States Air Force from 1971 until 1991, then retiring as a Master Seargent.
In addition to his wife, Marilyn Cossey of Bosier City, LA, he is survived by his children, Shari Lin Cossey of Bosier City, LA; Emma Wilson and Eddy Wilson, both of Florida, and Dena Wilson of Georgia; one granddaughter;his mother, Louise Cossey, one sister, Susie Buczynski, and three brothers, Jimmy, Danny and Donnie Cossey, all of Savannah.
He was also preceded in death by a sister, Janice Babb.
