Edward Wayne Brewer

Edward Wayne Brewer of Collinwood, TN was born March 3, 1943 in Collinwood, TN, the son of the late William Wayne and Pauline Kephart Brewer. He was united in marriage to Betty Lou Melton on September 1, 1962 and she preceded him in death on July 8, 2016. Mr. Brewer, a retiree after 35 years at Murray Ohio Manufacturing, attended the Church of God.

Mr. Brewer departed this life tragically on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at his home in a tractor accident at the age of 75 Years, 7 Months, 20 Days.

He is survived by a daughter, Vickey Dicus and husband, Dale of Collinwood, TN; sons, Mark Brewer and Eddie Brewer both of Collinwood, TN and Tim Brewer and wife, Tina of Clifton, TN; grandchildren, Wayne Brewer, Josh Brewer, Kelly Brewer, D. J. Haddock, Misty Ragan, John Brewer, Daiken Dicus, Jansen Brewer, Keith Schachle, Brooke Short and Nickie Brewer; great-grandchildren, Brianna Brewer, Savannah Brewer, Alex Thomas Haddock, Shianna Thompson, Cole Ragan, Addison Brewer, Kaiden Brewer, Kaylee Brewer, Karly Brewer, J. W. Brewer, Kaydence Nix, Kamry Nix, Vivian Brewer, Eva Ray and Sawyer Carter; brothers, Leon Brewer, James Herschel Brewer and David Brewer all of Collinwood, TN; a sister, Louita Wilson of Prudenville, MI; nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Brewer was preceded in death by a great-grandchild, Blade Brewer; a brother, Louil Brewer and a sister, Mary Ann Brewer.

Services will be held on Friday, October 26, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel, Collinwood, Tennessee, with Chad Balentine and Daniel Graves officiating. Burial will follow in Whitten's Crossroads Cemetery,t Iron City, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County directing. Visitation will be Thursday, October 25, 2018 from 5:30 pm to 9 pm and Friday, October 26, 2018 from 10 am to service time at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Wayne Brewer, Josh Brewer, D. J. Haddock, Daiken Dicus, Will Ragan and Dewayne Brewer.
