Edward A. Bain

Edward A. Bainwas born in Hardin County, Tennessee on September 19, 1922 the son of the late Horace Edward and Margaret Ann Godwin Bain.On May 28, 1955 he was united in marriage to Emma Lois Haggard, who survives.Mr. Bain had attended Nashville Auto Diesel College and was a machinist for Parris Manufacturing. He enjoyed cattle farming and mechanical work. He attended Robertson's Chapel United Methodist Church. Mr. Bain was a veteran of the United States Army serving in the European Theater 1944, earning three Bronze Stars and the Good Conduct Medal.Mr. Bain departed this life on Sunday, May 31, 2009 at the age of 86 years, 8 months, 12 days.In addition to his wife, Mr. Bain is survived by 2 sons, Boyce Bain and Larry Bain both of Savannah, Tennessee; 2 brothers, Floyd Bain and Delbert Bain both of Savannah, Tennessee; a sister, Sarah Margaret Owens of Savannah, Tennessee; 3 grandsons, Chad Bain ,Brad Bain, and Adam Bain; 7 great-grandchildren, Clayton, Lainey, Christian, Chloe, Monica, Kylie, and Shelby.
