Mr. Bailey passed away Sunday morning at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
The husband of Shelia Bailey, who survives, he worked as a truck driver for Shaw Concrete for 10-12 years and currently was employed as a custodian for Middleton Elementary School where he had worked for 6 years. Mr. Bailey was born August 19, 1957 in Rochester, NY to Thelma Bailey of Mt. Morris, NY and the late Edward Bailey and lived in Middleton since 1983. He was a member of the Middleton Pentecostal Tabernacle and enjoyed beekeeping.
In addition to his wife, whom he married February 1, 1986, and mother, he is survived by five daughters and their husbands, Robin Lassiter and Robert of Walnut, MS, Sherry Bell and Lee and Becky Bridges and J.R., all of Middleton, Sally Wilbanks and John of Corinth, MS and Tommie Robinson and Stephen of Cordova; three sisters, Janice Butler and Kathy Bailey, both of Mt. Morris, NY and Laurie Sawyer of Piffard, NY; two brothers, Danny Bailey of Avon, NY and David Bailey of Dansville, NY; ten grandchildren, Jimmy, Justin, Alex, Becca, Erica, Meghan, Allison, Dara, Austin and Chloe; and two great grandchildren, Julian and Hunter.
