Edna South Wilson

Edna South Wilson was born April 18, 1941 in Michie, TN the daughter of Effie Killingsworth South and the late Harris South.

Mrs. Wilson was a founding member of the Trinity Baptist Church in Michie, TN. She loved singing in the choir, tending to her flowers, and a talented seamstress. Her greatest joy was taking care of and loving her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mrs. Wilson departed this life on August 9, 2022 in Michie, Tennessee at the age of 81 Years, 3 Months, 22 Days. She is survived by her mother, Effie South of Michie, TN; three grandchildren, Amanda Wilson Voyles and husband Brandon, Andrew Wilson and wife Megan, Addison Wilson Lunsford; three great grandchildren, Lincoln, Jack and Anne Marie Lunsford; three sisters, Wanda McKee and husband Kenneth of Michie, TN, Pam South Latch of Savannah, TN, Robin South Williams of Michie, TN; lifelong friend, Loretta Emmons of Michie, TN; special caregiver, Laurie Brown of Stantonville, TN; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

In addition to her father, Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Wilson; son, Stacey Wilson; two brothers, James Orville and Willie Joe South.

Graveside Services will be held on Sunday, August 14, 2022 at 3:00 PM at Carter Cemetery, family and close friends are invited to attend.
