Edna Marie Sutton

Services for Edna Marie Sutton, age 77, of Clifton, TN, will be Tuesday, August 21, 2007 at 11:00 am at Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel in Waynesboro, TN with Jerry Garner officiating and Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Sutton’s body will be cremated following the services. Visitation will be Monday, August 20, 2007 from 5 pm to 8 pm and Tuesday, August 21, 2007 from 8 am until 11 am at the funeral home. She died at Wayne County Nursing Home in Waynesboro, TN on Sunday, August 19, 2007.
A native of Indianapolis, IN, Mrs. Sutton had worked as a cook and was a member of the Church of Christ. She always tried helping everyone and was preceded in death by her parents, Ely and Minnie Yost Ballard.
Survivors include, husband, Arthur G. Sutton of Clifton, TN; son, Dennis Sutton of Dillingham, AK; daughter, Brenda Law of Seattle, WA; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; four brothers; and three sisters.
