Edna A. Andrews Norris was born October 3, 1918 in Montgomery, Alabama the daughter of the late William Herbert and Clyde Marie Bufford Andrews.She was united in marriage to Thames Irby Norris who preceded her in death on January 31, 1989.Mrs. Norris was a retired School Secretary for Nicholas Blackwell High School in Bartlett, Tennesse. She was a member of the Adamsville First United Methodist Church. She was also a Church organist at different churches during her lifetime. Mrs. Norris was hospital volunteer and received the Senior citizens volunteer award. She was also an avid bridge player. Mrs. Norris departed this life on January 17, 2006 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 87 Years, 3 Months, 14 Days.She is survived by two sons, Mike Norris and wife Sara of Adamsville, Tennessee, Walter Norris and wife Donna of Arlington, Tennessee; two sisters, Rosa Hawkins of Bradenton, Florida, Evelyn Rea of Moultrie, Georgia; 7 Grandchildren, and 6 Great Grandchildren.In addition to her husband and her parents, Mrs. Norris was preceded in death by a sister, Katie McNair.
