Edna Mae Hill

Edna Mae Hill was born May 11, 1930 in Marianna, Arkansas the daughter of the late Ben and Glennie George Connor.She was united in marriage to C. W. (Shorty) Hill on January 1, 1946.Mrs. Hill was a homemaker and a member of the West Shiloh Baptist Church in Stantonville, Tennessee.Mrs. Hill departed this life on January 11, 2009 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 78 Years, 8 Months. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, C. W. (Shorty) Hill of Stantonville, TN; three daughters: Eloise Lambert of Savannah, TN, Peggy Ashe and husband Mike of Michie, TN and Gayle Parrott and husband Phillip of Stantonville, TN; a son, Donald Hill and wife Carolyn of Stantonville, TN; 10 Grandchildren, 17 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great Great Grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hill was preceded in death by a son, Junior Hill, who gave his life in service to his country on May 13, 1969.
