Edna Dee Qualls Ford departed this life on Sunday, October 20, 2013, at the age of 82 years, 3 months, 17 days.
She was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on July 3, 1931, to the late Elmer and Mary A. Hopper Qualls. On November 23, 1947, she was united in marriage to Hubert Ford, who survives. Mrs. Ford was a member of the Church of Christ in Savannah, Tennessee. She loved family and friends, cooking, canning, and fishing.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Hubert Ford of Savannah, Tennessee; sons, Lonnie Ford of Dallas, Oregon and John Ford of Plymouth, Indiana; 6 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; a sister, Faye Benson of Savannah, Tennessee; brothers, Melvin Qualls of Osceola, Indiana and Charlie Qualls of Elkhart, Indiana.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Pat Reeves; brothers, Grady, Jamie, Earl, Billy, and (Hoppy) William Qualls.
