Edna Earl Brewer

Edna Earl Staggs Brewer of Wayne Care Nursing Home, Waynesboro, TN, formerly of Collinwood, TN, was born November 7, 1927 in Collinwood, TN, the daughter of the late Jim and Minnie Daniels Staggs. She was united in marriage to John Riley Brewer on August 10, 1942 and he preceded her in death on April 2, 2012.
Mrs. Brewer was a homemaker.
Mrs. Brewer departed this life on Wednesday, January 16, 2013at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 85 Years, 2 Months, 9 Days.
She is survived by sons, Ronnie (Mickey-Lightin') Brewer, Dexter Dan Brewer ,and Paul Travis Brewer; daughters, Carolyn Ann Staggs and Kathy Diane Skillern all of Collinwood, TN, and Mona Lisa Wooten of Globe, AZ; 13 Grandchildren, 12 Great-Grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Brewer was preceded in death by a son, Gary Brewer; a grt-grandchild, Cheyenne Skillern; brothers, Rex , Buddy,and Bill Staggs; sisters, Frankie and Sally Staggs.
Services will be held on Friday, January 18, 2013 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel, Collinwood, Tennessee, with Greg Eaton officiating. Burial will follow in the McGlamery Cemetery, Collinwood, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing. Pallbearers will be Sammy Brewer, Keith Staggs, Jason Staggs, Michael Brewer, John Skillern, and Scott Davis.
