She was born in Silerton, TN, the daughter of the late Henry and Sarah Rush Masters. She taught school in the Chester County School System for 36 years.
She is survived by her son Kenneth Hooper and wife Peggy of Henderson; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren; a sister Sue Nelle Hanna of Monroe, LA and a sister-in-law Evelyn Hooper Burkhead of Henderson.
