Edith Drake

Edith Arndt Drake was born June 27, 1921 in Allentown, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Harold Elmer and Eva Flora Weiss Arndt. Mrs. Drake departed this life Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at her home near Collinwood at the age of 87 Years, 10 Months, 8 Days. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Drake was preceded in death by her husband Harold Arthur Drake. She was a homemaker and attended Shawnettee Methodist Church.She is survived by two sons, Donald Drake of Jacksonville, FL and Francis Drake of Coral Springs, FL; two daughters, Eva Williams of Collinwood, TN, and Martha Wilson of Fayetteville, TN; 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; a sister, Miriam Zerfass of Allentown, PA; Mrs. Drake was cremated and a memorial service will be scheduled at a later time.
