Edison D. Baker

Edison D. Baker was born July 14, 1927 in McNairy County, the son of the late Dalton Elbert and Lilly Farris Baker.On December 1, 1947, he was united in marriage to the former Mary George who survives.Mr. Baker, a self-employed truck driver departed this life on December 17, 2005 in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 78 Years, 5 Months, 3 Days.Other then his wife Mary Baker , Mr. Baker is survived by a daughter, Pamela Jo Mayo and husband Joe of Athens, Tennessee, a brother Don Baker of Detroit, Michigan, two grandsons, Matthew Colby Mayo and Tyler Ross Mayo both of Athens, a great granddaughter, Elizabeth Madison Mayo of Athens, and a great grandson, Michael Edison Mayo of Athens. Other than his parents, Mr. Baker is preceded in death by, two sisters, Ruth White and Dorothy White, and a brother, Willard Baker.
