Edgar Capooth

Edgar (Bug) Capooth Jr. was born February 16, 1924 in McNairy County, Tennessee the son of the late Edgar and Bonnie Elam Capooth.He was united in marriage to the former Eather Nichols.Mr. Capooth was a farmer. He attended Michie First Baptist Church. He played spoons (known as the spoonman) in the Channel 18 Band in Adamsville. He also sold 4-wheelers and lawnmowers. Mr. Capooth proudly served in the U. S. Army during WW II.He departed this life on October 25, 2006 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 82 Years, 8 Months, 9 Days. Mr. Capooth is survived by his wife, Eather Nichols Capooth of Guys, Tennessee; sister, Mary L. Burks White of Michie, Tennessee and sister-in-law, Ruby Nichols of Corinth, Mississippi; 7 nieces and 4 nephews.
