Mr. Anthony passed away Tues., Nov. 20 from complications during heart surgery at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
He was born April 22, 1933, to Charlie L. and Dollie Bickerstaff Anthony in Grenada, MS. He was Baptist by faith.
He attended Grenada High School and left to join the Army and he served during the Korean Conflict. After discharge, he began attending Mississippi State University and later Christian Brothers College in Memphis. He became a Register Licensed Electrical Engineer, was a Plant Manager and later became owner of his own construction company.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Terrance Lee. Those who survive are his wife of 53 years, Nancy Figgins Anthony, whom he married on September 5, 1954, his brother, Mark T. Anthony of Colorado Springs, CO; three sisters, Norma Munn of Bolivar, Freda Yeager and Barbara Hopper, both of Memphis; a son, Billy Joe Anthony of Bolivar; 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Pallbearers are Billy Satas, B. J. Anthony, David and Jon Hopper, Charles Hartness and Nathan Yeager. Pastor Wayne Wendt of Living Way Christian Fellowship will conduct services.
