Henderson, TN: J. Edward Norris age 73, passed away November 22, 2010 at his home.
He was born and reared in Beersheba Springs in Grundy County, the son of the late Clarence and Charity Whitman Norris. He attended schools in Grundy County. He served in the U.S. Army in Italy. He worked in the telephone industry where he did equipment installation, traveling from coast to coast. He married Diana Proll Morton in 1996. They made their home in Henderson. They owned and operated Craft World in Jackson for 10 years and moved the business to Henderson on North Washington Street. Mr. Norris loved wood working, fishing and going to his grandchildren’s ball games. He attended Sanford Hill Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Diana Proll Norris of Henderson; three sons, Brian Norris and Liddell Norris (Brenda) all of McMinnville and Ben Norris (Kim) of Milan; a daughter, Michelle Childs of TN; two step daughters, Dorene Watson (David) of Murfreesboro and Denise Murray (Charlie) of Rathdrum, Idaho; a brother, Eston Norris (Reba) of Crossville; two sisters, Ethel Camp (Steve) of Altamont, TN and Edith Martin (the late Kelley) of Murfreesboro; fifteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren and also several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son, Faron Norris.
