Edd R. Martin

EDD R. MARTINwas born in Adamsville, Tennessee on March 10, 1926 the son of the late James and Bertie Gilchrist Martin.On December 17, 1993 he was united in marriage to the former Hattie J. Simpson, who survives.Mr. Martin was a retired maintenance worker for Ford Motor Company. He was a member of Mt. Sharon Presbyterian Church and was a member of the United Auto Workers Local 425. Mr. Martin was a United States Army Veteran. He enjoyed farming and gardening.He departed this life on March 27, 2007 at the Tri-County Convalescent Home in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 81 years and 17 days.Other than his wife, Hattie of Adamsville, Tennessee, he is survived by 2 daughters, Juilette Hite of Lorain, Ohio and Addie C. Brown of Grafton, Ohio.2 sons, Eddie L. Martin of Louisville, Kentucky and Garry R. Martin of Rochester, Ohio.8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren2 sisters, Evelyn Williams of Nashville, Tennessee and Lou Dean Inman of Memphis, Tennessee.one brother, Kenny Martin of Carmichael, California.Mr. Martin was also preceded in death by 3 sisters, Minnie Faye Donaldson, Wilma Smith and Lore Osmond and 3 brothers, John Neal, J. P. and Gilce Martin.
