Ed Lane, 78, of Saulsbury, died Tuesday, May 10, 2005 at Bolivar General Hospital.
He was retired from Chrysler Corporation after 27 years in management. Mr. Lane was born August 28, 1926 in Pryce, Kentucky, son of the late Mitchell C. and Minnie Lou Bellamy Lane and lived in Dayton, Ohio for 27 years prior to making his home in Tennessee in 1980. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII.
Graveside services were 10 am Saturday, May 14,2005 at the Saulsbury Cemetery with Bro. David Cooper officiating.
Shackelford Funeral Directors of Bolivar were in charge of
arrangements.
Survivors include three sons, Edgar C. Lane, Jr. of Panama City, Fla., Henry Bradford Lane of Raleigh, NC, and Michael Stephen Lane of Canton, OH; one step-daughter, Karen Sue O'Grady of Huber Heights, OH; three sisters, Nancy Ellen Hull of Winchester, KY, Opal Stewart of Dry Ridge, KY and Alma Thornton of Memphis; five brothers, William Robert Lane of Lexington, KY, George Lane of Irvine, KY, Victor Lane of Revenna, KY, Onlie Clay Lane of Louisville, KY and Don Lane of Irvine, KY; four
grandchidren, Bradford Eugene Lane, Benjamin C. Lane, Lori Sue Lane, Rosie Drummond and four great grandchildren, Jonathan, Tommy, Christopher and Steven.
