EARSIE TURNBOW KIRKMANwas born in Hardin County, Tennessee on August 12, 1915 the daughter of the late William Upton and Nancy Catherine Ratliff Turnbow.On September 1, 1936 she was united in marriage to Claud Kirkman, who preceded his wife in death on September 13, 1967.Mrs. Kirkman retired from Aqua Glass at age 85. She was a member of River Heights Pentecostal Church. Mrs. Kirkman 's three most important things in her life were her God, her family and her flower garden.She departed this life on July 1, 2008 at the Hardin County Nursing Home in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 92 years, 10 months and 19 days.Mrs. Kirkman is survived by 2 daughters, Claudette Youvonne Henley of Crump, Tennessee and Bobbie Sue Hardin of Selmer, Tennessee.one son, John L. Kirkman of Selmer, Tennessee14 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildrenone sister, Versie Smith of Crump, TennesseeMrs. Kirkman was also preceded in death by 3 sons, Jackie Wayne (Pete) Kirkman, Cletus E. Kirkman and Jerry D. Kirkman, 2 grandchildren, 6 sisters, Roxie Pugh, Ethel Stinett, Essie Pugh, Vinnie Stinett, Octavia Cunningham and Early Blankenship and 5 brothers, Enlow, Nathan, Grady, O. C. and Linus Turnbow.
