Earlene Daniel

Earlene Shelton Daniel was born September 26, 1922 in Wayne County, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Arch McDougal and Beulah Emma Pigg Shelton. She was united in marriage to Everett Cornelius Daniel on June 29, 1941. Mr. Daniel preceded her in death on November 22, 2006.



Mrs. Daniel was a retired supervisor with Angelica Corporation at Collinwood Manufacturing.



Mrs. Daniel departed this life on Saturday, November 15, 2008 at E. C. M. Hospital in Florence, Alabama at the age of 86 Years, 1 Month, 20 Days.



Services will be held on Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Memorial Gardens in Collinwood, TN with John Allen Berry and Roger Villines officiating. Burial will follow with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County directing. Visitation will be Monday, November 17, 2008 from 5 pm to 9 pm and Tuesday, November 18, 2008 from 9 am until 10:30 am at Shackelford Funeral Home in Collinwood, TN.



In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Daniel was preceded in death by two brothers, Samuel and Leland Shelton.



She is survived by a daughter, Carolyn (Daniel) Bryant and husband, Allan of Merdianville, AL; a son, Gary Daniel and wife, Shirley of Cypress Inn, TN; four granddaughters, Heather (Bryant) Hogue and husband, Michael, Brandy (Bryant) Cloud and husband, Brian all of Birmingham, AL, Michelle (Daniel) Rowlett and husband, Paul and Melissa Daniel all of Cypress Inn, TN; three great-grandchildren, Olivia and Ann Elise Hogue and Avery Rowlett; one step-great-grandson, Chas Rowlett; three brothers, Maurice Shelton of San Angelo, TX, Tommy Shelton of Waynesboro, TN, David Shelton of Florence, AL; two sisters, Sue (Shelton) Perkins of Smyrna, TN, Jane (Shelton) Pinkerton of Trenton, TN; and nieces and nephews
