Earl Christopher

Wilburn Earl Christopher was born on May 31, 1916, to Archie and Virgil Smith Christopher. He was united in marriage to Donvie Elliott who preceded him in death on January 10, 1998. Mr. Christopher was a former school teacher and insurance agent.He served as Tax Assessor for McNairy County for 12 years. He later worked as a night dispatcher for Pickwick Electric Cooperative. He is a member of Mt. Vinson Methodist Church.Mr. Christopher departed this life on May 7, 2008, in Adamsville, at the age of 91 Years, 11 Months, and 7 Days.Survivors are his son Rickey Christopher and wife Reba of Adamsville; 2 grandsons, Kevin Christopher and Keith Taylor, a sister, Modean Burton of Phoenix, Arizona; 2 brothers, Arnold Christopher of the Masseyville community in McNairy County, and Gene Christopher of Phoenix.6 Great-GrandchildrenA host of other relatives and friends.Other than his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his daughter,Brenda Taylor, and siblings Evelyn Melton, Faye Davis, Ruby Milford, Nova Pyron, Jewell Milford, Aaron Christopher, and Irby Christopher.
