E. J. Farris was born March 26, 1938 in McNairy County, Tennessee the son of the late Leonard and Hazel Burns Farris.He was united in marriage to Lois Anderson on March 13, 1982, was a Tool and Die Maker, Baptist in Faith and loved fishing and golfing with friends.Mr. Farris departed this life on October 14, 2008 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 70 Years, 6 Months, 18 Days.He is survived by his wife Lois Farris of Selmer, TN; three daughters, Janice Spincer of Henderson, TN, Crystal Farris of Selmer, TN, Stephaine Farris of Selmer, TN; three sons, Rick Anderson of Selmer, TN, Darren Farris of Santa Clarita, CA, Dale Farris of Corinth, MS; two sisters, Frances McCalister of Corinth, MS, Martha Steakley of Michie, TN; four brothers, Ronald Farris of Merced, CA, Jackie Farris of Michie, TN, Haywood Farris of Michie, TN, Freddie Farris of Michie, TN; eleven grandchildren, Jessica , Ashley , Alyssa , Cody , Trista , Wade , Dylan , Drew , Holly , Rachel , April; and 5 Great Grandchildren.In addition to his parents, Mr. Farris was preceded in death by a sister, June Cornelius.
