Dyan Lee Billington Fohn
was born in San Francisco, California on July 24, 1952, the daughter of Bud and Helen Hendel Billington. She spent the next forty years in San Francisco prior to her marriage to Christian Fohn on November 13, 1997. Since that time, she has resided in Hardin County.
Dyan was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and served as a Child Advocate and Foster Parent as well as a volunteer with the Court Appointed Special Advocates for children in Madison County. She also worked as the office manager for an environmental consulting company.
Dyan Fohn departed this life on March 13, 2006 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 53 years, 7 months and 17 days.
Other than her husband, Christian, of Savannah, Tennessee, she is survived by:
a son, Erik Fohn of Savannah, Tennessee;
two sisters, Linda Billington of San Bruno, California, and Pat Billington of San Jose, California;
her mother, Helen Billington of Daly City, California;
three great-nieces, Christina, Anna and Jessica Billington, and
one great-great-niece, Adriana Billington.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lisa Lee Billington Fohn, her father, Bud Billington, a niece, Rhonda Billington and her aunt and uncle, Joan and Sam Burkhalter.
