Dusty Grissom

James Dustin (Dusty) Grissom was born on August 17, 1983 in Jackson, Tennessee, the beloved son of James (Tony) Anthony Grissom and Mary Evelyn Ervin Hatch.

Dusty possessed a deep passion for the outdoors, finding solace in fishing expeditions, hunting excursions, and long walks in nature. Additionally, he found great joy listening to music that touched his heart. Above all, Dusty cherished moments spent with his nieces and nephews, relishing in the love shared within their tight-knit bond.

On August 31, 2023, in Bethel Springs, Tennessee, Dusty departed this life at the age of 40 years and 14 days. He leaves behind a profound void in the hearts of those who loved him dearly.

Dusty is survived by his parents, Tony and Mary Grissom of Bethel Springs, TN; his sister, Tammy Willis and her boyfriend Ivy Rickman of Selmer, TN; two brothers: Elvis Hatch of Bethel Springs, TN and Thomas Hatch and his wife Kortney of Selmer, TN; uncle, John Ervin and his wife Mazie of Henderson, TN.

Dusty's memory will live on through his loving nieces and nephews: Cassie, Anna, and Mary Hatch; Bleyden, Adalynn, and Triton Hatch; Tabitha Willis; Johnathan and Tyler Ervin.
