Doyle Raymond Baker

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Doyle Raymond Baker, age 62, who passed away at his home in Lawrenceburg, TN, on March 14, 2025. He was born on July 31, 1962, in Florence, AZ, Doyle was the son of the late Franklin Delano and Ella Jane Rice Baker.

For many years, Doyle dedicated himself to his work as a manager at Shoney's, where he touched the lives of countless individuals with his kindness and leadership.

Doyle is survived by his son, Paul Baker (Sarah) of Monroe, MI; his daughter, Rachael Baker of Milwaukee, WI; as well as his sisters, Trudie Bailey (Gary) of Lawrenceburg, TN, Laurie Whittaker (Jimmy) of Monterey, TN, Emily Fisher  (Jason) of Lawrenceburg, TN, and Spring Cady of Monroe, TN; 7 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

He was deeply loved and is now reunited in spirit with those who preceded him: his parents, Franklin and Ella Jane Baker; his sister, Kathie Redd; and his brothers, Frankie Baker Jr. and Randy Baker.

Doyle Raymond Baker will be remembered not just for his accomplishments but for the warmth and joy he brought into the lives of everyone who knew him. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
