Dovie Lorene Wilkerson

91 year old Dovie Lorene Gammill Wilkerson of Savannah, died Tuesday, June 20, 2006 at Jackson General Hospital in Jackson, Tennessee of a brief illness. She was a housewife and a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Nannie Ingle Gammill; her husband, Roy Wilkerson; a brother, Leo Gammill; a sister, Mary Belle Cummings; a grandson, Joel Easley and a great-granddaughter, Katelynn Wilkerson. Survivors include a son Gene Wilkerson and his wife, Lena, of Smithville, Tennessee; 2 daughters: Barbara Replogle and her husband, John, and Mackie Easley and her husband, Leon, all of Savannah, Tennessee; 8 grandchildren;16 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Services were held, Thursday, June 20, 2006 at 3:00 PM in the Shackelford Chapel with Larry Rich officiating. Burial in Centenary Cemetery in Wayne County, Tennessee.
