Douglas (Daddy Doug) Bryant

Douglas (Daddy Doug) Bryant, Sr. was born August 19, 1963 in Logan, WV the son of the late Russell and Edith Marcum Bryant. Mr. Bryant died Monday, July 15, 2013 at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia, Tennessee at the age of 49 Years, 10 Months, 26 Days. For the past 17 years he had worked at Hughes Hardwood in Collinwood. He was married to Margaret Rosetta Warwick January 8, 1984.

He is survived by his wife Margaret Rosetta Bryant, two sons, Douglas Bryant Jr. and Thomas Charles Siems, two daughters, Estella (Rosie) Warwick and Priscillia Siems all of Collinwood, TN, four grandchildren, Hayley Nicole Siems, Hannah Marie Risner, Carolyn Oliva Clay, and Cherokee Diamond Peters, six brothers, Eddie Dean Bryant and wife June and Jimearl Bryant and wife Gracie all of Chapmanville, WV, Darrell Bryant and wife Liz and Harrison Bryant both of Detroit, MI, Walter Bryant and wife Sherry of Collinwood, TN, and Johnny Bryant and wife Mary of Waynesboro, TN, three sisters, Jean Marcum of Kermit, WV, Judy Copeland of Collinwood and her husband the late Donnie Copeland, Kimbo Messer of Dingess, WV and her husband the late Paul Messer, mother-in-law, Ruby Warwick of Bronson, FL,
sisters-in-law, Emma Crum and Edna Marcum both of Dingess, WV, and Lucy Bryant of Chapmanville, WV, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Bryant was preceded in death by grandparents, Emmy and Charlie Marcum, three brothers, Roger Lee Crum, Delbert Bryant, and Charlie Marcum, and father-in-law, Charles Warwick.

Services will be Saturday, July 20, 2013 at 3:00 PM at Cornerstone Church in Collinwood with David Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in Cromwell Crossroads Cemetery near Collinwood with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be at Cornerstone Church Friday, July 20, 2013 from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM until service time.
