Mr. Douglas McKinnley Boyd was born December 8, 1969 in Savannah, TN the son of the late Douglas Eugene "Dot" and Dorothy Ellen Woods Boyd. He worked in home renovation as a self employed carpenter. He was united in marriage to Mendy Deshazier on February 4, 2004. Mr. Boyd departed this life on May 10, 2021 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 51 Years, 5 Months and 2 Days.
He is survived by his wife Mendy Deshazier Boyd of Savannah, TN; a son, Josh Boyd of Waynesboro, TN; a daughter, Mary Boyd of Savannah, TN; a brother, Stanley Boyd and wife Frances of Linden, TN; three sisters, Lisa Jones of Waynesboro, TN, Rita Russell Staggs of Waynesboro, TN, Judy Cole of Waynesboro, TN; and a grandchild, Saylor Boyd of Waynesboro, TN.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Boyd was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Frazier and an infant brother, Harville Eugene Boyd
Mr. Boyd will be cremated per his wishes and the family will have a memorial service at a later time.
