She was born and reared in Oakland City, IN, the daughter of the late William Thomas and Dymple Scales Collins.

She is survived by one son Sammy Lamberth of Ramer, TN and a daughter Jane Ann Landes of Elizabeth Town, PA; 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; one sister Mary Ann Perry of Oakland City, IN.
