Doshia Wicker

Doshia Wicker was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on June 24, 1920, the daughter of the late Joseph and Liza Davis Griffin.On February 11, 1938 she was united in marriage to Jodie Wicker, who preceded her in death on August 18, 2002.During her life Mrs. Wicker had worked in the shirt factory industry as a machine operator. She had lived her life in the Hardin County area and was a member of the Bethlehem Methodist Church. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, and loved her grandchildren. Mrs. Wicker departed this life on Thursday, March 13, 2008 at the age of87 years, 8 months, 18 days.Mrs. Wicker is survived by 2 sons: Russell Wicker of Oakland, Tennessee and David Wicker of Adamsville, Tennessee; 4 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 1 son: Bobby Wicker; 4 brothers; 2 sisters.
