Dortha Jean Sweat

DORTHA JEAN SWEATwas born in Henderson, Tennessee on September 19, 1935 the daughter of the late John Hugh and Bertie Rouse Hodges.She was united in marriage to Elmer (Capper) Sweat, who preceded his wife in death on January 8, 1979.Mrs. Sweat was a machine operator for River Heights Manufacturing Company. She was a member of Mt. Sharon Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Sweat loved to sew.She departed this life on June 17, 2010 at the Hardin Medical Center in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 74 years, 8 months and 29 days.Mrs. Sweat is survived by 2 sons, Billy Sweat and his wife Elizabeth of Crump, Tennessee and John Sweat and his wife Michelle of Semi Valley, Californiaseveral grandchildren and several great grandchildrenone sister, Jo Peal of Hartford, North CarolinaIn addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by one brother, Charles Hodges.
