Dorothy Nell Lomax Walker

Dorothy Nell Lomax Walker of Waynesboro, TN was born June 5, 1942 in Perry County, TN, the daughter of the late Barney and Cletus Davis Lomax. Mrs. Walker departed this life on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia, Tennessee at the age of 76 years, 7 months, and 1 day. Mrs. Walker had worked at numerous places over the years and was a member of Waynesboro Church of Christ. She was married to A.C. Walker March 17, 1962.

She is survived by her husband A. C. Walker of Waynesboro, TN, son, Randall Walker of Oklahoma City, OK, granddaughter, Sylvia Walker and grandson, Dillon Walker, brother, Daniel D. Lomax of Trenton, TN, sisters, Edna Mae Pigg and Betty Haynes both of Perry County, TN. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Walker was preceded in death by a brother, J E Lomax.

Services will be Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel in Waynesboro, Tennessee with Gregg Lee and Mitchell L. Skelton officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Gardens with Shackelford Funeral Home assisting the family. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00-9:00 PM and Wednesday from 8:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
