Dorothy (Dot) Dillon Taylor was born January 27, 1921 in McNairy County, Tennessee the daughter of the late James Alexander and Callie Gay Dillon.
She was united in marriage to Winfield Aulcy Taylor on October 14, 1939 . Mr. Taylor preceded her in death on December 19, 2002.
Mrs. Taylor was a member of New Bethel Cumberland Presbyterian church. She and her husband had lived in Memphis for over 40 years and maintained a summer home in Middleton. She worked at Barker's Apothecary as a pharmacy tech for a several years.
Mrs. Taylor departed this life on February 16, 2009 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 88 Years, 20 Days. She is survived by a son, Bill Taylor and wife Cordie King of Fairview, TN; two sisters, Bertha Brown and husband Earl of Selmer, TN, Maggie Beck and husband Bill of Memphis, TN; two grandchildren, Mark Taylor and wife Carol of Starkville, MS, Rebecca Carter and husband Jason of Fairview, TN; 6 Great Grandchildren, 3 Great Great Grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by two sisters, Verble Jones, Ruby Michael; four brothers, Otto Dillon, Theodore Dillon, Willie Dillon, Arnold Dillon.
