DOROTHY L. SMITHwas born in Hardin County, Tennessee on May 9, 1926 the daughter of the late James Harve and Gladys Irene Gibbs Austin.She was united in marriage to Odus Smith, who preceded his wife in death.Mrs. Smith retired from Brown Shoe Company. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Savannah. Mrs. Smith enjoyed quilting and liked gospel music.She departed this life on November 22, 2010 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 84 years, 6 months and 13 days.Mrs. Smith is survived by one daughter, Elsie Frances Crum and Wayne Jones of Humboldt, Tennessee5 grandchildren, Gary Irvin, Beverly Worley, Barry Crum, Mark Crum and Sandra Crum7 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren3 sisters, Grace Pickens, Corrine Baugus and Frankie Baugus, all of Savannah, TennesseeIn addition to her parents and her husband, she was also preceded in death by one son, Maynard Irvin, one sister, Ruth Copeland, one brother, Herman Austin and one infant grandchild.
