Dorothy Mae Holt Perry

Dorothy Mae Holt Perry Mrs. Dorothy Mae Holt Perry, Waynesboro, TN, was born March 23, 1930 in Lutts, TN, the daughter of the late Dalton and Savannah Sherrill Holt. She was united in marriage to the late Jessie Newton Perry on January 7, 1950 and was a homemaker.

Mrs. Perry departed this life on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at her residence at the age of 90 Years, 9 Months and 10 Days.

She is survived by son, Grady Anthony Perry, wife, Beverly of Clifton, TN;, daughters, Brenda Jean Shedd and Donna Shedd both of Waynesboro, TN and Jane Evelyn Booher, husband, Eddie of Indianapolis, IN; 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; sisters, Betty Jean Ayers and Patricia Horton and brother, Cecil Holt, wife, Carolyn all of Collinwood, TN and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Perry was preceded in death by sons, Roy, Johnny Ray and Jessie Dalton Perry; sister, Lavacy Heard and brother, Ronnie Joe Holt.

Services will be held on Monday, January 4, 2021 at 1:00 PM Cromwell Crossroads Church, Collinwood, Tennessee, with Greg Eaton officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Directors assisting the family. Pallbearers will be Lance Gailey, Toby Lineberry, Michael Horton, Danny Dodd, James (Nub) Staggs and Chad Moriarty.

Visitation will be Sunday, January 3, 2021 from 5:30 pm until 8:00 pm and Monday, January 4, 2021 from 8:00 am until service time at the church.

The family ask that everyone attending the visitation or service to wear a mask and practice physical distancing.
