Dorothy Frances Jacobs, 73, of Middleton, died Thursday morning, June 1, 2006 at Bolivar General Hospital.
She was a retired production worker at Harmon Automotive. Ms. Jacobs was born May 29, 1933 in Hardeman County, daughter of the late O. B. Cole and Stella Dixon Cole and lived here most of her life. She was a member of the United Autoworkers Union and the First United Methodist Church of Middleton.
Services were 11:00 am Saturday, June 3, 2006 at Shackelford Funeral Directors Middleton chapel with Lee Merrick officiating. Burial was in Reaves Cemetery near Middleton.
She leaves two daughters, Sheila Cox of Corinth, Miss. and Judy James of Mt. Juliet; one son, Anthony Jacobs of Middleton; one brother, Robert Cole of Memphis; and one grandchild and one great grandchild, Mandy Forman and Drew Forman, both of Middleton. She was preceded in death by one brother, Willard Cole and one sister, Odell Reaves.
