DOROTHY MAE JACKSON
Was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on February 23, 1924 the daughter of the late John Thomas and Gracie Ann Austin Ponds.
On September 1, 1946 she was united in marriage to Price Frazier Jackson, who preceded his wife in death on June 13, 2001.
Mrs. Jackson was a seamstress for Harwood in Adamsville, Tennessee. She was a member of House of Mercy Church.
Mrs. Jackson departed this life on July 20, 2006 at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 82 years, 4 months and 27 days.
She is survived by one daughter, Phyllis Garrison of Morris Chapel, Tennessee.
2 sons, Jimmy and Danny Jackson, both of Morris Chapel, Tennessee.
4 grandchildren, Tara Moffett, Slade Jackson, Brandon Jackson and Danalee Jackson
3 great-grandchildren, Abby Moffett, Dani Beth Moffett and Mackenzie Jackson.
2 sisters, Louise Bridges of Savannah, Tennessee and Mary Lou McCall of Saltillo, Tennessee.
one brother, Parker Ponds of Hamilton, Alabama.
Mrs. Jackson was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Thomas and John Earl Ponds.
