Dorothy Arp

Dorothy (Dot) Arp was born August 27, 1933 in Chester County, Tennessee the daughter of the late Lonzo and Fanny Kathryn Presley Banks.She was united in marriage to Levy Eugene Arp on September 13, 1965. Mr. Arp preceded her in death on August 21, 2007.She was a Retired Factory Worker for Harwood Manufactory in Adamsville, TN and was also Baptist in Faith.Mrs. Arp departed this life on February 16, 2008 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 74 Years, 5 Months, 20 Days.She is survived by five daughters, Barbara McMahan and husband Jim of Houston, TX, Donna Johnson and husband James of Iuka, MS, Sherry Givens and husband Gerry of Florence, AL, Terry Byrd and husband Keith of Houston, TX and Tina Weatherly and husband Jimmy of Selmer, TN; a son, Jeff Arp of Stantonville, TN; a family friend, Bobbie Meek of Stantonville, TN; two sisters, Mary Flatt and Faye Jackson both of Jackson, TN; four brothers, Woodrow Banks of Fort Worth, TX, Roy Banks of Bay City, MI, J. R. Banks of Jackson, TN and Larry Banks of Jackson, TN; 13 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren.
